Permitted Development Applications

Working with the guidelines set out in the General Permitted Development Order 1995, we can show you the possibilities of extending your home without the need for planning permission. We can apply for a Certificate of Proposed Lawful Development/Use to the local authority on your behalf so that you have documentary evidence that your project, at the time of construction did not require planning permission.

We  don’t directly recommend contractors but can supply details of reputable companies who have worked on past SK Design projects.

We strongly recommend at least 3 prices are sought through the tender process.

At SK Design we have and excellent collaborative relationships with a variety of construction industry professionals – from structural engineers and quantity surveyors through to environmental consultants and 3D visualisation specialists – ensuring that the appropriate and relevant information and expertise is available throughout your project.
